A new dawn…

So I’m sitting in front on my mac on a typical Sunday evening, having just got ready for school which begins again tomorrow. Half-term has just happened, with some relaxing, golf playing, mountain bike riding and spending Saturday evening at some close friends post wedding celebration which was awesome. 

I finished my reports early on in the week, which was a result as far as I’m concerned as we’ve had a few hiccups. I’m not going to say anymore on the matter, just that they are done and I’m pleased to have completed them. 

As the last seven weeks of the 2008-09 school year begin, I’ve begun to reflect on what my future holds for me. One thing that I have realised is what an amazing place the coastline is near here. Recently I bought some new Nike golf clubs (well they were second hand from eBay, but in VGC) and a friend of mine ages ago had said to me, the only way to get better out of a bunker is to practise in the sand. So for the last few weeks, on the beautiful fine summers evenings I’ve been going down to Canford Cliffs beach and just hitting some golf balls. 

Those times, when there has been no-one on the beach except me have been times when I can clear my head, have some fun and ultimately relax…which I do find hard to do when I’m in the job that I’m doing. There can be moments when I go to sleep and cannot get rid of things at school, which I find hard to deal with as sometimes I just want to switch off and forget about what happens during the daytime. Lets make this clear, whilst school is great, it can be mentally and physically draining. Whatever happens in the future; whether I get my dream job working for Tottenham Hotspur (in some capacity) or Apple Inc; getting out down onto the beach with no-one around is something I’ll always do.
